Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with a leading organisation in the Information Technology sector to hire a Manager, Product Development. This opportunity is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Lead the planning, execution, and performance of digital products and technology-enabled services, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Product Management, Product Development, Digital Product Delivery, or related roles.
• Proven experience managing product roadmaps, system enhancements, and product lifecycles.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams within technology-driven environments.
• Prior people management or team leadership experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product roadmap for assigned digital products and service offerings.
• Prioritise product enhancements, features, and system improvements based on business needs and stakeholder input.
• Ensure alignment between product direction, revenue objectives, and regulatory requirements.
• Approve functional requirements, testing scope, and product changes prepared by the product team.
• Oversee product pricing strategy, packaging, and market positioning.
• Lead Product Executives in executing roadmap and enhancement initiatives.
• Provide direction on enhancement requests and ensure effective prioritisation.
• Monitor development progress, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution.
• Ensure proper documentation standards are maintained, including requirements, test scenarios, and product documentation.
• Ensure accurate tracking of service requests, enhancements, and operational changes.
• Oversee SIT, UAT, and FAT planning and execution.
• Approve testing outcomes, sign-offs, and deployment readiness.
• Ensure proper defect management and issue resolution prior to production release.
• Lead deployment planning, release strategy, and post-launch monitoring activities.
