Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with a leading organisation in the Information Technology sector to hire a Product Manager. This opportunity is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Position Overview
This role will support the end-to-end product lifecycle of enterprise technology solutions, translating customer insights and business needs into scalable product capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital products that drive operational efficiency, customer value, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Discovery & Requirements Definition
- Support in gathering customer feedback, deployment learnings, and market insights across enterprise clients.
- Translate operational challenges into structured product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct competitive analysis on emerging technology platforms and enterprise software solutions.
- Maintain a prioritised backlog aligned with commercial impact, technical feasibility, and business objectives.
2. Feature Delivery & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with Engineering and technical teams to drive features from concept through release.
- Coordinate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cycles using Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Track feature-level KPIs and provide updates to product leadership.
- Own and maintain product documentation, including PRDs, release notes, and enablement materials.
3. Customer & Market Insights
- Partner with commercial and delivery teams to capture customer and market feedback.
- Synthesise customer requests, deployment findings, and growth opportunities into actionable product recommendations.
- Support user research activities, including interviews, usability testing, and feature validation.
- Contribute to product positioning and messaging initiatives.
4. Product Operations & Governance
- Maintain product road maps, release calendars, and decision logs.
- Support QA activities and feature acceptance testing prior to deployment.
- Participate in product reviews, retrospectives, and road map prioritisation discussions.
- Ensure product releases align with governance, compliance, and security requirements.
5. Commercial & Go-to-Market Support
- Support solution scoping activities and product demonstrations.
- Develop product briefings and enablement materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with proposal development by mapping product capabilities to customer use cases.
- Feed customer and deployment insights back into the product road map.
Key Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Technology Delivery, Consulting, or a related field.
- Exposure to AI, analytic, enterprise software, digital platforms, or technology solutions is highly preferred.
- Experience working within technology companies, consulting firms, start-ups, or enterprise environments is advantageous.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
Technical / Functional Expertise
- Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and intelligent automation technologies.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into structured product artefacts, including PRDs, user stories, and road map initiatives.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid product delivery methodologies.
- Experience supporting product discovery, requirements gathering, and feature delivery.
- Knowledge of product analytic tools; SQL exposure is an advantage.
- Understanding of enterprise software, workflow automation, analytic platforms, or digital transformation solutions.
- Exposure to user research, product launches, go-to-market initiatives, or UI/UX principles is beneficial.
