Job summary

Jabil in Penang seeks a skilled supply chain planner to coordinate demand planning and production scheduling. You will develop a feasible operational plan and maintain ownership of execution to meet customer satisfaction and minimize liability.

Responsibilities include creating a master schedule, loading it into the ERP, and driving revenue forecast accuracy while monitoring planning metrics for continuous improvement. Strong ERP/MRP knowledge and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of ERP/MRP.
• 1 to 2 years materials related experience.
• Advanced PC skills including knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong written and verbal English communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop a collaborative demand plan with BU and customers.
• Create a Master Schedule through resource and capacity analysis.
• Load Master Schedule into the Jabil ERP system.
• Create and maintain a feasible production plan with operations.
• Develop revenue forecast and monitor performance with corrective action.
• Monitor planning metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Comply with company security policies and procedures.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
