Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Planner to prepare and manage short- and medium-term schedules in Bayan Lepas. You will coordinate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, the Sales team and QA to align production with demand.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain or Manufacturing, strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/MRP systems. You will thrive under changing priorities and ensure timely delivery of products.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing or related field.
• Experience in production planning or material planning in manufacturing preferred.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production schedules based on customer orders and forecasts.
• Review material availability, production capacity and manpower requirements.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, Sales and Quality teams.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules when shortages, delays or priority changes occur.
• Ensure materials are available before production begins.
• Track work orders, production output and delivery commitments.
• Monitor inventory levels and minimise excess or obsolete materials.
• Update planning information and maintain accurate records in the ERP/MRP system.
• Prepare production planning and delivery performance reports.
