Job summary

Jabil in Penang (Bayan Lepas) is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager I to lead supply chain deliverables for designated design initiatives within the PCP framework. You will analyze situations, develop strategies, and guide procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to align with Jabil's SCM goals.

You will work with engineers to select cost-effective processes, perform supplier evaluations, and coordinate RFQ activities while pursuing favorable pricing, terms, and supplier collaboration

Qualifications

• Experience with budgets and project management, including scheduling and resource forecasting.
• Advanced PC skills and familiarity with Jabil software packages.
• Proficient in software: Pro-Engineer, SolidWorks, MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate technical documents and financial reports.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present to management and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for Supply Chain activities for assigned design initiatives.
• Perform situational analysis, strategy development, and guidance for supply chain development, procurement, and logistics.
• Conduct DFM reviews prior to design release for custom engineered applications.
• Estimate costs for materials and tooling for various processes.
• Collaborate with engineers to determine cost-effective manufacturing processes.
• Assist with supplier evaluations and onboarding of alternate/localized suppliers.
• Support PCP execution and RFQ processes.
• Negotiate pricing and terms; optimize supplier relationships and logistics.
• Promote Early Supplier Involvement and lead related initiatives.
