Job summary

Ambition in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Strategic Delivery Manager for a 12-month contract at KL Eco City. This high-visibility role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, turning complex priorities into measurable results and coordinating cross-functional teams.

You will own portfolios and roadmaps, lead end-to-end programmes, manage scope, risk and budget, and communicate with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience with at least 5 in project/programme management or strategy execution.
• Proven ability to deliver cross-functional initiatives in matrixed organisations.
• Hands-on experience in both Waterfall and Agile delivery environments.
• Experience developing and delivering communication plans for strategic programmes.
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior stakeholder engagement.
• Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Insurance, financial services or management consulting background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Convert strategic priorities into portfolios, roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Lead end-to-end programme delivery across medium-to-large workstreams with scope, risk, budget and timelines.
• Drive cross-functional coordination across business, IT, operations and finance.
• Develop and execute targeted communication plans to support initiatives.
• Prepare governance materials including steering committee packs, status reports and decision papers.
• Contribute to quarterly and annual planning cycles.
