Job summary

Wing Tai Malaysia Property Management Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Executive / Executive, Cost & Contract (Quantity Surveyor) to join the team in Penang. You will handle tendering, cost planning, budgeting, and contract administration across property development projects.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and proficiency in Excel and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Requires Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Contract Management.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Quantity Surveying, Cost Management or Contract Administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, contract administration, variation claims, interim payments and final accounts.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office for cost estimation and reporting.
• Able to evaluate tender submissions, review cost reports and provide commercial recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Tendering and procurement: assist in pre-qualification, tender exercises, evaluation and reporting.
• Quantity take-off and cost planning: prepare take-offs, estimates, cost plans and Bills of Quantities.
• Cost control and reporting: monitor budgets, variations, cash flow and forecasts; prepare cost reports.
• Progress valuation and payment claims: attend site valuations, verify progress and assist in processing payments.
• Variation orders and contractual claims: evaluate variations, EOT submissions and costs.
• Contract administration and final accounts: coordinate with QS consultants, track submissions and settlements.
• Stakeholder coordination and commercial risk management: support meetings, identify cost-saving opportunities and risks.
• Management reporting: prepare cost summaries and support procurement and cost control duties.
