Job summary

Chubb Insurance Malaysia Berhad seeks a Company Secretarial & Legal Counsel to assist the Head of Legal in advising the Board on secretarial matters and corporate governance. The role covers secretarial duties, AGM/Board coordination, and regulatory filings to ensure timely compliance with ROC/SSM and Bank Negara Malaysia.

The candidate will be a qualified Company Secretary with strong drafting and liaison skills, interfacing with regulators, shareholders, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in company secretarial and governance matters.
• Ability to coordinate AGM and Board meetings.
• Familiarity with Companies Act, Financial Services Act and related guidelines.
• Strong drafting and regulatory liaison skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Constitution and governance laws.
• File secretarial and statutory lodgements with ROC/SSM and Bank Negara Malaysia.
• Prepare annual return and audited financial statements.
• Coordinate AGM and Board meeting logistics.
• Draft and review corporate and governance documents.
