Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Malaysia seeks a results-driven Business Development Manager – Contract Logistics to identify new opportunities, design tailored supply chain solutions, and expand the Contract Logistics portfolio across Malaysia.

You will build relationships with multinational clients, lead proposals and tender submissions, and collaborate with Operations, Finance and Legal to ensure successful implementations and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Business Development, Sales or Account Management within Contract Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Experience in RFQ/RFP processes, proposals, pricing strategies and contract negotiations.
• Strong understanding of 3PL/4PL logistics operations including warehousing, transportation and value-added services.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Contract Logistics sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Understand customers' supply chain challenges and develop tailored logistics solutions.
• Lead the preparation of proposals, quotations, pricing models and tender submissions.
• Negotiate commercial terms, contracts and service agreements.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements to identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Legal and Customer Service teams to ensure successful implementation of new business.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular business updates and forecasts.
• Ensure customer satisfaction while identifying opportunities for account growth and long-term partnerships.
