Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to drive sourcing strategy across Malaysia, manage supplier relationships, and support regional and global procurement initiatives. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with Operations and other stakeholders to deliver value and optimize costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, or a commercial function.
• Proven experience in sourcing, RFQ/RFP, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and contract management.
• Strong knowledge of category management and procurement governance.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities across Malaysia including sourcing, RFQ/RFP, tender management, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations.
• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with regional and global procurement objectives.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives and identify procurement savings opportunities.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and service excellence.
• Partner with Operations and cross-functional stakeholders to support business requirements and procurement projects.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance standards, and commercial best practices.
• Lead strategic procurement initiatives and support continuous process improvement across Malaysia.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, or a commercial function.
• Proven experience in sourcing, RFQ/RFP, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and contract management.
• Strong knowledge of category management and procurement governance.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in the following areas will have an added advantage:

• Contract Logistics (3PL) or warehousing industry.
