Job summary

Ong Brothers Petroleum Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Business Development Executive/Manager based in Johor/Penang. This full-time role drives growth, identifies opportunities, and builds strategic partnerships to expand market presence in the petroleum sector.

Responsibilities include market research, BD strategy, client negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver projects. Travel across the region is expected to support business development goals.

Qualifications

3+ years for managers, 0-2 years for executives in sales or BD roles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
Proven ability to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and hit targets.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Self-motivated and target-driven with a passion for achieving goals.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

Identify new business opportunities and markets within petroleum and related industries.
Develop and implement BD strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the region.
Conduct market analysis on industry trends, competitors, and opportunities.
Prepare proposals, presentations, and pitches for clients and partners.
Negotiate and close commercial contracts; collaborate with internal teams to deliver projects.
Monitor BD activities, pipeline progress, and KPIs; report findings.
