Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT or related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification (MBA) would be an added advantage.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, marketing, or related commercial function.
• Track record of developing new business opportunities and revenue growth.
• Experience in industrial/electrical/electronic or IT infrastructure industries is a plus.
• Familiarity with technical specifications, tender requirements, and project-based sales.
• Strong understanding of business development, sales, and marketing strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strong relationship-building across organizational levels.
• Commercially driven, results-oriented and independent with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate prospective clients, projects, industries and market segments to generate new business opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategic business development and sales plans.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Present products and technical solutions at meetings, events and networking sessions.
• Drive product specification activities for inclusion in customer requirements and tenders.
• Manage online and offline marketing activities to strengthen brand visibility.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns, events and product promotions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute BD and marketing strategies.
• Monitor market developments, customer needs and competitor activities.
• Maintain active sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts and analyses.
• Keep CRM data up-to-date with customer and opportunity information.
