Job summary

Cheil Malaysia is seeking an experienced Account Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for retainer and out-of-scope projects. You will be the main contact for Samsung’s Product Division, managing communications and client relationships while coordinating internal teams and external partners to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

You will also lead project planning, manage production vendors and maintain budgets, while guiding junior staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role in advertising/creative agency

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations across retainer and out-of-scope projects
• Serve as key contact for Samsung’s Product Division; manage client communications and relationships
• Act as liaison between clients, internal teams and external partners for smooth project execution
• Lead project planning and coordination to ensure on-time, quality deliverables
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Own project planning, ideation, execution and production from brief to delivery
• Manage third-party vendors: cost negotiations, agreements and production coordination
• Develop strong relationships with production vendors and partners
• Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery within budgets and timelines
• Handle administrative and financial matters per company and client requirements
• Guide and support junior team members and lead by example
