Job summary

Thunder Match Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a Storekeeper for The Waterfront Shoppes, Penang. Take delivery of materials and reconcile with purchase orders while ensuring accurate inventory records.

Maintain stock levels within min/max, update stockroom records, pack, label, and rotate stock. Coordinate with suppliers to manage returns, discrepancies, and low-value procurements.

This full-time role at TMT IOI City Mall offers hands-on warehousing duties with standard hours and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing and storekeeping.
• Familiar with receiving, discrepancies, and inventory reconciliation.
• Proficient in data entry and inventory records.
• Ability to handle purchasing and supplier liaison for low-value orders.

Responsibilities

• Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.
• Track, document, and resolve discrepancies on received orders.
• Update records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns.
• Manage inventory within established minimum and maximum levels.
• Keep up-to-date records of receipts, records, and withdrawals from the stockroom.
• Pack, price, label, and return supplies.
• Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses.
• Manage supplier relations and database as well as maintain high ethical relationships both internally and externally.
• Create purchase orders and perform low-value procurement activities.
• Ship cancelled or damaged items back to suppliers as appropriate.

Storekeeper (TMT The Waterfront Shoppes, Penang)

Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders

Track, document, and resolve any discrepancies on received orders

Ensure accuracy of the facility’s inventory system by updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns

Manage inventory/supplies and ensure they are within the established minimum and maximum levels

Keep up-to-date records of receipts, records, and withdrawals from the stockroom

Responsible for packing, pricing, labelling, and returning supplies

Responsible for stock rotation and coordinate the disposal of surpluses

Manage supplier relations and database as well as maintain high ethical relationships both internally and externally

Create purchase orders and utilize purchasing card to perform low-value procurement activities

Responsible for shipping cancelled or damaged items back to suppliers as appropriate.

Location: TMT IOI City Mall

Working hours: 10am - 7pm / 1pm - 10pm (6 days/week)
Sometimes 10am-10pm with overtime.
