Job summary

Powertechnic Marketing Sdn Bhd in Kulai, Johor is seeking a Storekeeper to manage stock, store materials, and operate a forklift. The role requires a diploma in logistics/warehouse management and at least 1 year of related experience.

You will coordinate with Purchasing and other departments to ensure accurate stock records and smooth warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently, and possesses good communication skills.

Qualifications

Diploma or equivalent in Logistics, Warehouse Management or related field.
Minimum 1 year of working experience in storekeeping, warehouse, inventory or related field.
Must be able to operate a forklift.
Forklift license/certificate is an added advantage.
Forklift driving experience is preferred.
Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Experience using inventory or stock management systems will be an advantage.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate stock records.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to handle store/warehouse activities.
Possess own transport.
Based in Bandar Indahpura, Kulai, Johor.

Responsibilities

Receive, check and record incoming goods and materials.
Arrange and store items properly according to designated locations.
Operate forklift to load, unload and move goods and materials safely.
Issue materials, spare parts and equipment based on requests.
Monitor stock levels and ensure sufficient stock availability.
Perform regular stock checking and physical stock counts.
Update stock records and inventory in the system.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Service and other departments regarding stock requirements.
Ensure all items are properly labelled and stored.
Maintain cleanliness, safety and proper arrangement of the store.
Monitor and follow up on stock discrepancies.
Assist in preparing and arranging items for technician/service jobs.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of store records.

What You'll Be Doing?

Receive, check and record incoming goods and materials.

What You’ll Need To Have?

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business Administration or related field.

Minimum 1 year of working experience in storekeeping, warehouse, inventory or related field.

Must be able to operate a forklift.

Valid forklift license/certificate is an added advantage.
