Job summary

MHY Machinery & Engineering Sdn Bhd, a Johor-based construction machinery rental and sales company with deep experience in tower cranes, invites applications for a Store Keeper.

You will receive, check, and store crane components, maintain accurate inventory records, issue tools and parts to sites, conduct stock takes, and keep the warehouse clean and organized while coordinating with purchasing for replenishment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word) required.
• Responsible, honest, and organized behavior expected.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and store incoming goods and materials (Crane components).
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement updates.
• Issue tools, spare parts, and materials to site/technicians as required.
• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory checking (stock takes).
• Ensure proper labeling, organization, and storage of items.
• Monitor stock levels and report low stock for replenishment.
• Coordinate with purchasing and admin team for stock orders.
• Keep store/warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Prepare simple stock reports when required.
• Ensure all goods in/out are properly documented.

Job Requirements

Minimum 1 year experience in storekeeping / warehouse / inventory control

Basic computer skills (Excel, Word)

Physically fit to handle warehouse work

Experience in construction / machinery / engineering industry is an advantage
