Job summary

AIDA MANUFACTURING (ASIA) SDN. BHD. invites applications for a Storekeeper position at our Pasir Gudang plant. You will manage receiving, verification, and issuance of materials, maintain accurate stock records, and support logistics with timely material availability.

Candidate should have basic computer skills, at least 1 year in storekeeping, and be able to operate in a manufacturing setting with a strong emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory-related work is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
• Able to read basic documents such as delivery orders, material lists, and stock records.
• Familiar with basic computer usage (e.g. Excel or inventory systems).
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks when required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against DOs, invoices, and specifications.
• Record stock movements accurately including inbound, outbound, and internal transfers.
• Issue materials, components, tools, and parts to production and other departments based on requisitions.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and identification of materials, spare parts, and finished goods.
• Maintain inventory records and update stock data in the system or stock cards.
• Conduct regular stock checks and participate in stock takes.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to supervisor.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Logistics on material availability and delivery schedules.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Handle store-related documentation such as GRN, DO, inventory reports.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against Delivery Orders (DO), invoices, and specifications.

Record all stock movements accurately, including inbound, outbound, and internal transfers.

Issue materials, components, tools, and parts to production and other departments based on approved requisitions.

Ensure proper storage, labelling, and identification of materials, spare parts, and finished goods.

Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock data in the system or stock cards.

Conduct regular stock checks and participate in monthly / annual stock take activities.

Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, discrepancies, damaged items, or excess stock to the supervisor.

Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Logistics departments on material availability and delivery schedules.

Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.

Handle store-related documentation such as GRN, DO, inventory reports, and records.

Perform other duties as assigned based on operational requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Minimum secondary school education or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory-related work is preferred.

Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.

Basic knowledge of inventory control, stock management, and warehouse procedures.

Able to read basic documents such as delivery orders, material lists, and stock records.

Familiar with basic computer usage (e.g. Excel or inventory systems).

Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks when required.

Forklift operation experience or certification is an added advantage (training can be provided).

Responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented with good teamwork skills.

Safety-conscious and willing to work in a production / warehouse environment.
