Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Stock Controller to manage the flow of goods through our warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory records and safeguarding against over- or under-stocking. You will fill, receive and store materials while maintaining orderly stock records.

Responsibilities include issuing Delivery Orders, coordinating with logistic partners, performing cycle counts, and supporting daily operations. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant warehouse/storekeeping experience; fresh graduates may be considered.
• Diploma in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory management and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock flow through the warehouse and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Issue and receive Delivery Orders; conduct stock cycle counts; maintain housekeeping.
• Liaise with logistic partners as required.
• Assist management in daily routine tasks and tasks as assigned by superior.

Job description

To control the flow of stock through a warehouse, monitoring goods in and out (stock controller).

Responsible to ensure proper filling and safekeeping of inventory records including avoid over, under-stocking of materials, protect materials from losses and damages.

Be involved in stock control and assist the management in daily routine tasks.

Carry out stock cycle count and housekeeping of the work area.

Handle warehouse operation: issue Delivery Order, receiving incoming/outgoing goods.

Responsible to liaise with logistic partners as and when required.

To perform other tasks as assigned by Superior.

Requirements

Education

Minimum SPM or equivalent. A diploma in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is an advantage.

Experience

At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in warehouse/storekeeping. Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge may be considered.

Skills

• Knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
• Ability to operate warehouse-related software or ERP systems is an added advantage.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word).
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, move, and carry materials as needed.

Personal Attributes

Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Language

Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Ability to communicate in Chinese is an added advantage.
