Job summary

LIM AIK CHAI ELECTRICAL SDN BHD is seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Assistant in Kuching with at least 2 years of warehouse experience. You will manage stock records, verify goods against DOs and invoices, and maintain proper labeling and documentation.

You will supervise warehouse staff and ensure safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced environment. Candidate should be proficient with MS Office and Excel, capable of independent multitasking, and able to maintain accurate inventory records with

Qualifications

• Minimum STPM or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in warehouse or inventory management.
• Familiar with stock control and warehouse documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock.
• Monitor stock levels to ensure sufficient inventory for smooth operations.
• Verify quantity and quality of goods received against DOs and invoices.
• Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and system updates upon receiving and dispatching goods.
• Arrange and store products systematically to optimize warehouse space.
• Prepare and maintain GRN and DO documentation.
• Supervise warehouse assistants, pickers, and forklift operators to ensure efficient and safe operations.
• Ensure all warehouse staff use PPE and handle equipment responsibly.
• Conduct regular housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.

• Familiar with stock control, and warehouse documentation would be an advantage.
• Able to use Microsoft Office and Excel to perform daily tasks.
• Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently and performing well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock.
• Monitor stock levels to ensure sufficient inventory for smooth operations.
• Verify quantity and quality of goods received against Delivery Orders (DO) and invoices.
• Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and system updates upon receiving and dispatching goods.
• Arrange and store products systematically to optimize warehouse space and accessibility.
• Prepare and maintain accurate warehouse documentation such as Goods Received Notes (GRN) and Delivery Orders (DO).
• Supervise warehouse assistants, pickers, and forklift operators, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently and safely.
• Ensure all warehouse staff properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and handle warehouse equipment responsibly.
• Conduct regular housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
