Job summary

Responsibilities

• Receiving, inspecting, and logging all incoming inventory, parts, and materials into the warehouse management system
• Organising and cataloguing items in designated storage areas, ensuring proper labelling
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records
• Conducting regular stock counts and reconciliation to ensure records match physical inventory
• Fulfilling requisition requests from maintenance teams and other departments, picking and packing items for dispatch
• Managing stock levels and alerting management when inventory reaches reorder points
• Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, safe, and well-organised in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Monitoring expiry dates on materials and ensuring rotation of stock using the FIFO method
• Preparing and maintaining documentation related to goods received, goods issued, and stock transfers
• Collaborating with purchasing and maintenance departments to ensure adequate stock availability
• Performing general warehouse duties including loading, unloading, and moving materials as required

Fonco Engineering Corporation Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and organised Storekeeper to join our team in Pusing, Perak. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficient operation of our engineering maintenance division. As Storekeeper, you will be responsible for the effective management, organisation, and control of our inventory and warehouse operations. This position is integral to ensuring that all maintenance teams have timely access to the parts, tools, and materials they need to carry out critical maintenance work across our operations.

What you'll be doing
