Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Storekeeper to join our company in Juru ,Bukit Mertajam, Penang. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and organisation of our electrical supplies and materials warehouse. As Storekeeper, you will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring accurate stock records, generate delivery order , keep track return material and supporting the smooth operation of our business by maintaining optimal stock levels of electrical components and materials.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, inspecting, and cataloguing incoming electrical supplies and materials
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records using warehouse management systems
• Organizing and arranging stock in designated storage areas to maximize space and accessibility
• Conducting regular stock audits and reconciling inventory discrepancies
• Processing and fulfilling internal requisitions and stock requests from team members
• Monitoring stock levels and identifying items requiring reordering
• Preparing stock reports and providing inventory data to management
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the storage facility
• Assisting with stocktaking and cycle counts as required
• Coordinating with suppliers regarding deliveries and resolving supply chain issues
• Generate Delivery Order and Return Order

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar warehouse or inventory management role
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency in using inventory management systems and basic computer skills (MS Excel preferred)
• Excellent record-keeping and numeracy skills for accurate stock management
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
