Job summary

Fonco Engineering Corporation Sdn Bhd in Pusing, Perak is seeking an experienced Storekeeper to join our team. You will manage inventory, log inbound goods, and maintain accurate stock records to support maintenance crews.

Responsibilities include stock counts, FIFO rotation, requisition fulfillment, and collaboration with purchasing and maintenance teams to ensure availability. The role requires strong accuracy, safety awareness, and the ability to work both independently and with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, inspecting, and logging all incoming inventory, parts, and materials into the warehouse management system
• Organising and cataloguing items in designated storage areas, ensuring proper labelling
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records
• Conducting regular stock counts and reconciliation to ensure records match physical inventory
• Fulfilling requisition requests from maintenance teams and other departments, picking and packing items for dispatch
• Managing stock levels and alerting management when inventory reaches reorder points
• Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, safe, and well-organised in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Monitoring expiry dates on materials and ensuring rotation of stock using the FIFO method
• Preparing and maintaining documentation related to goods received, goods issued, and stock transfers
• Collaborating with purchasing and maintenance departments to ensure adequate stock availability
• Performing general warehouse duties including loading, unloading, and moving materials as required
