Job summary

Comfortable Plastics Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our Pekan Nanas warehouse in Johor. You will manage receipt, storage and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate stock records and efficient warehouse operations.

In this full-time role, you will use our warehouse management system, perform regular stock counts, and uphold health and safety standards while coordinating with teams to meet delivery schedules and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Storekeeper or similar in manufacturing/logistics.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented and accurate in inventory data.
• Able to lift and move goods regularly.
• Proficient in warehouse management systems and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in warehouse environments.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Good communication and professional attitude.
• Familiarity with stock control procedures.

Responsibilities

Comfortable Plastics Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Storekeeper to join our warehousing and distribution operation in Pekan Nanas, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our storage and inventory management systems. As Storekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and products, ensuring that our warehouse operates smoothly and that all stock is accounted for and readily accessible. This position is essential to supporting our operational excellence and customer satisfaction objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving, checking, and recording incoming goods and materials into the warehouse management system


• Organising and storing products in designated locations to maximise warehouse space and ensure easy retrieval


• Conducting regular stock counts and reconciling physical inventory with system records to maintain accuracy


• Preparing goods for dispatch by picking, packing, and labelling items according to order specifications


• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisation, adhering to health and safety standards


• Identifying and reporting damaged, defective, or obsolete stock for appropriate action


• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently


• Assisting with inventory audits and cycle counts as required


• Communicating with other team members and departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations


• Maintaining accurate documentation and warehouse records

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar warehouse or storage role within the manufacturing or logistics sector


• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently


• Attention to detail and accuracy in recording and managing inventory data


• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move goods regularly, including items of varying weights


• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer skills


• Knowledge of health and safety practices in warehouse environments


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment


• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is preferred


• Good communication skills and a professional attitude


• Familiarity with inventory control procedures and stock management best practices
