Job summary

Symphony Confection Sdn Bhd in Batu Pahat, Johor is seeking a Storekeeper to manage daily warehouse duties and ensure accurate stock handling. The role requires operating a forklift, checking goods, and keeping materials organized with strict FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.

The successful candidate will count stock, assist with stock movements, maintain a clean and safe warehouse, and report discrepancies to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations or storekeeping preferred.
• Able to operate a forklift.
• Basic knowledge of inventory handling, stock control, and warehouse documentation is preferred.
• Physically fit for loading, unloading and other manual handling duties.
• Responsible, organised and attentive to stock accuracy.
• Able to follow warehouse procedures and safety requirements.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily receiving, loading, unloading, and movement of goods within the warehouse
• Operate a forklift for the movement, loading, unloading, and arrangement of goods
• Check incoming and outgoing goods to ensure the correct items and quantities are received or dispatched
• Arrange and store raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods at designated warehouse locations
• Perform stock counting and regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy
• Assist with stock‑in, stock‑out, stock take, and basic warehouse documentation when required
• Monitor stock rotation and follow FIFO / FEFO practices where applicable
• Ensure goods are properly handled and stored to minimise damage and product loss
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, neat, safe, and organised condition
• Report damaged goods, stock discrepancies, and other warehouse issues to the supervisor promptly

A Storekeeper is responsible for the daily receiving, loading, unloading, and movement of goods within the warehouse.
