Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad in Malaysia seeks a Central Store clerk to manage the general operation of the Central Store, including stock replenishment and compliance with standards. You will oversee storage, security, and timely stock replenishment for medical/surgical supplies and stationery.

The role requires ensuring PO accuracy, GRN posting, and data entry into the Hits System while supporting finance during stock takes and KPI tracking.

Qualifications

• SPM or related field with relevant experience or equivalent education/work history.

Responsibilities

• Cover general operation of the Central Store ensuring efficient operation.
• Ensure proper storage/arrangement of items in Central Store.
• Ensure security and safety of items in Central Store.
• Replenish stock medical/surgical, sundries and stationeries.
• Raise purchase requisition to Purchasing Unit to ensure stock availability.
• Check and monitor slow moving items, near expired items and expired items.
• Receive goods to ensure they match PO and procedures.
• Enter item receipts into Hits System.
• Close Purchase Order by posting GRN.
• Comply with Purchasing Quality Objective for items ordered, delivered and received.
• Assist Finance Services during Stock take Exercise.
• Assist on AI and AO in Hits System.
• Assist technicians during machine service with suppliers when needed.
• Carry out recycle activities and minimize waste.
• Support KPI performance objectives and standards.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible in covering general operation of the Central Store inclusive of stock replenishment and ensure the activities are compliance to the set standards.

• Ensure efficient operation of Central Store.
• Ensure proper storage/arrangement of items in Central Store.
• Ensure security and safety of items in Central Store.
• Responsible for replenishment of stock medical/surgical, sundries and stationeries.
• To raise purchase requisition to Purchasing Unit to ensure the stock availability at all the time.
• To assist on check and monitor slow moving items, near expired items and expired items.
• To check and receive all incoming goods are according to purchase order and procedures.
• To enter the information of items receive and supplies into Hits System.
• To close the Purchase Order (PO) by post the Good Receive Note (GRN).
• To comply with Purchasing Quality Objective for items ordered, delivered and received.
• Assist Finance Services during Stock take Exercise.
• Assist on the Adjustment In (AI) and Adjustment Out (AO) when needed into Hits System.
• Assist on the technician during their machine service such as Coway, Sharp Photocopier and any related contractor supplier when needed.
• Responsible to carry out recycle activities and to minimize waste.
• Assist to ensure KPI performance objectives and standards achievable.
• To perform any other duties as and when required by the superior.

PREFERRED

Preferably with relevant experience in Hospital / Healthcare business or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience Meet minimum SPM or related field with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
