Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations in receiving, inspecting, and storing materials and equipment in Malaysia. The role focuses on maintaining accurate stock records, safeguarding company assets, and ensuring timely and compliant warehouse activities to support project requirements.

The suitable candidate holds an SPM qualification with at least 1 year of related experience and will contribute to safe, organized storage, and efficient housekeeping

Qualifications

• SPM qualification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist Warehouseman on daily activities such as receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and equipment.
• Conduct stock counts and physical verification of materials and equipment.
• Ensure materials are stored in dedicated storage areas with proper labelling/markings.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse and storage yards to ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by the Executive, Warehouse/Warehouseman.
• Ensure material receiving and inspection processes run smoothly without jeopardizing project requirements.
• Ensure strict compliance with the Company's policies, procedures and practices.
• Maintain accuracy in inventory documents.
