Job summary

Jobstreet Malaysia is seeking a Storekeeper / Store Assistant to bridge stock handling with digital administration. You will manage end-to-end goods flow, using SQL-based systems to maintain inventory accuracy and generate billing documents while coordinating with couriers to meet delivery timelines.

The role requires 1–2 years of warehouse or shipping admin experience, familiarity with SQL Accounting / SQL Inventory, and basic customs documentation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Goods Receiving & Store Inventory: Inspect incoming goods against DOs and organize warehouse layout.
• Shipment & Document Issuance: Pick, pack, label orders and generate DOs and commercial invoices via SQL system.
• Customs Documentation & Compliance: Prepare Customs Forms for import/export and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain 5S and safety as per company rules; perform duties as assigned.

Job description

Position Summary:
The Storekeeper / Store Assistant bridges the gap between physical stock handling and digital administration. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of goods—from receipt to final customer delivery—utilizing SQL software to manage inventory data, issue key billing documents, and process critical customs declarations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Goods Receiving & Store Inventory

Inspect incoming goods against supplier Delivery Orders to verify quantities and condition.

Organize warehouse layout to optimize storage space, accessibility, and inventory flow.

Perform regular stock counts to ensure the physical stock perfectly matches the SQL system balance.

2. Shipment & Document Issuance

Pick, pack, and label customer orders accurately according to picking lists.

Generate Delivery Orders (DO) and final Commercial Invoices through the SQL billing system.

Coordinate with couriers, freight forwarders, or transport drivers to ensure timely pickups.

3. Customs Documentation & Compliance

Prepare and complete Customs Forms (such as K1, K2, or K9 declarations) for import/export or cross-border logistics.

Ensure all shipping paperwork complies with local authority regulations to prevent shipment delays.

Job Requirements

Experience: 1–2 years of experience in warehouse ops, storekeeping, or shipping admin.

Software: Proven hands-on experience using SQL Accounting / SQL Inventory systems.

Compliance: Basic knowledge of Customs forms processing and documentation.

Skills: Strong numerical accuracy, attention to details, and clear record-keeping habits.

Language: Functional command of English and Bahasa Malaysia to manage drivers and customs paperwork.
