Job summary

Tong Seng Huat (Bintulu) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Store & Warehouse Supervisor at its Bintulu site to manage warehouse operations, maintain stock records, and lead a small team of storekeepers and drivers. Qualifications

• Diploma in business administration, logistics, or warehouse management.
• 2–3 years in warehouse, stock control, logistics or distribution operations.
• Supervisory experience is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting.
• Knowledge of QNE system and PUSPAKOM scheduling is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels, prepare stock orders, and maintain stock records.
• Oversee goods loading onto lorries for accurate quantities and safe handling.
• Process returns and issue Credit Notes in Excel and QNE, and coordinate returns to Miri warehouse.
• Schedule lorry inspections and renewals with PUSPAKOM to minimise disruption.
• Directly supervise Assistant Storekeepers, Storekeepers, Lorry Drivers, and Attendants; allocate daily tasks.
• Prepare closing reports (Aging Report, Stock Take, Purchase Analysis, BERNAS Report) and manage staff leave records.

Job description

Store & Warehouse Supervisor responsible for managing warehouse operations, inventory control, stock management, and team supervision at the Bintulu location. The role involves overseeing goods loading and dispatch, processing returns and credit notes, coordinating vehicle logistics, and preparing administrative reports.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels (rice and assigned products), prepare stock orders, inspect daily inbound shipments from Miri, and maintain stock records
• Oversee goods loading onto lorries to ensure correct product quantities, safe handling, and minimal loading errors/damages
• Process returned rice/sugar from outlets, accurately prepare Credit Notes (CN) in Excel and QNE systems, and coordinate returns back to the Miri warehouse
• Schedule and coordinate lorry inspections and renewals with PUSPAKOM with minimal disruption to delivery schedules
• Directly supervise Assistant Storekeepers, Storekeepers, Lorry Drivers, and Attendants; allocate daily tasks and ensure smooth team operations
• Prepare accurate closing reports (Aging Report, Stock Take, Purchase Analysis, BERNAS Report, etc.) and handle staff overtime/annual leave records for HR

About you

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or a related field (relevant work experience will also be considered)
• At least 2–3 years of experience in warehouse, stock control, logistics, or distribution operations
• Supervisory experience is highly preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting
• Knowledge of QNE system transaction processing is a strong advantage
• Experience with PUSPAKOM scheduling and return documentation
• Strong team supervision, problem-solving under changing delivery routes, high integrity, and clear communication skills
