Job summary

JD Sports Fashion SDN. BHD. is seeking a proactive Deputy Store Manager in Malaysia to support the Store Manager in daily operations, lead a small team, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service across the shop in Melacca.

The role covers customer service, sales performance, visual merchandising, and staff development, with opportunities for career growth within a dynamic Southeast Asia retail network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in retail operations or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Passion for retail, customer service and team development.
• Confident, energetic and customer-focused personality.
• Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first-class customer service to drive loyalty and satisfaction.
• Support store operations and drive sales targets and KPIs.
• Analyse Oracle reports to support commercial decisions.
• Develop merchandising briefs and ensure pricing and displays are accurate.
• Coach and train team members, support recruitment and onboarding.
