Job summary

Yobe Ventures Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam is seeking an experienced ice cream technician and supervisor to oversee daily outlet operations, including machine use, cleaning, and SOP management. The role requires coordinating staff across outlets with strong communication in BM and English.

You will schedule shifts, manage stock, and lead a cheerful team to deliver excellent customer service at multiple outlets in the area.

Qualifications

• Expertise in ice cream machine operation, cleaning and troubleshooting.
• Experience in planning and managing SOPs for ice cream production.
• Ability to schedule, plan and coordinate staff timelines.
• Experience in stock management and knowledge transfer to the team.
• Strong team leadership with ability to foster harmony among members.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and production including froyo and toppings per SOPs.
• Maintain food quality, hygiene and presentation per SOPs.
• Perform daily tasks: frontline duties, restocking, and outlet cleanliness.
• Guide team in ice cream machine operation and SOP adherence.
• Schedule and coordinate staff timelines.
• Manage stock and share knowledge with the team.
• Recruit and retain team members; maintain team harmony.
• Assist customers through ordering and payment to ensure fast, accurate service.
• Ensure customers feel welcome with excellent service and brand-aligned experience.

Mandatory experience: Expert and experience in using ice cream machine and swirling ice cream/froyo (Functioning/cleaning/trouble shooting/planning and managing SOPs).

Based at PJ Outlet (May need to handle multiple outlets and be relocated between multiple outlets within the area)

• Good communication skills in BM and English. Mandarin is an advantage
• Expert and experience in using ice cream machine (Functioning/cleaning/trouble shooting/planning and managing SOPs).
• Experience in scheduling, planning, coordination of staff timeline
• Experience in stock management and open to learn and pass on knowledge to the team
• Experience in team management and have the ability to monitor and and create harmony between team members
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision from HQ
• Flexible and able to handle urgent requests promptly
• Warm, cheerful, friendly and energetic personality
• Familiar with basic mobile apps usage such as grab ordering/food panda / Touch and Go / Shopee Pay / QR Pay
