Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable retail supervisor to oversee multiple outlets. You will lead sales teams, ensure proper product displays, and drive targets across assigned areas. A background in fashion retail with leadership experience is essential.

The role requires strong English and Bahasa Malaysia, with Mandarin a plus, willingness to travel and work weekends or public holidays when needed. Proficiency in MS Office and scheduling systems is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent; Diploma or higher in Business/Marketing is an advantage.
• 2–3 years of working experience in fashion retail, sales supervision.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic scheduling systems.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
• Willing to travel within assigned areas and work on weekends or public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all retail sales associates in your assigned area and help them achieve company objectives.
• Ensure products are displayed prominently in outlets per guidelines from Store/Area Manager and Marketing Team (VM).
• Monitor attendance and punctuality of the team.
• Interview and shortlist candidates for vacancies.
• Train and guide new staff for onboarding and clarity of responsibilities.
• Upload staff work schedules and keep them accurate.
• Assist the Manager in staff-related matters and resolve issues.
• Support in-store promotions and selling in selected outlets.
• Bank cash on hand; if banking day falls on weekend/holiday, secure in safe until next working day.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sales targets and KPIs are met and admin tasks are accurate.

Responsibility

• Supervising all retail sales associate in your assigned area and helping them to achieve the company’s objectives.
• Ensure company products are prominently displayed in outlets, according to the guidelines from the Store Manager/ Area Manager and Marketing Team (VM).
• Monitor the team’s attendance and ensure punctuality of the team.
• Responsible for interviewing and shortlisting candidates for vacancies.
• Train and guide new staffs to ensure smooth onboarding and understanding of job responsibilities.
• Upload staffs’ work schedules and ensure they are updated and accurate.
• Assist the PIC/ Manager in overseeing staff-related matters and resolving on-ground issues.
• Support in-store promotions and selling when required in selected outlets.
• Cash on hand must be banked into Bank. If the banking day falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or Public Holiday, the cash is to be securely placed in the safety box until next working day, adhere all the company rules and regulations.
• Carry out any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the superior.
• Ensure all sales targets and performance KPIs are met.
• Ensure all administrative and approval work is accurate and aligned, including HR, Finance, and accounting tasks.
