Job summary

Panda Eyes is seeking an experienced retail supervisor for its fashion stores in Malaysia. The role involves leading a team of sales associates, ensuring product displays meet brand guidelines, and driving sales targets across outlets.

You will monitor attendance, interview and onboard new staff, and coordinate schedules while supporting promotions. Travel within assigned areas and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma or higher in Business/Marketing or related field is an advantage.
• 2-3 years of experience in fashion retail, sales supervision.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Able to multitask and work under minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic scheduling systems.
• Responsible, proactive and results driven.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.
• Willing to travel within assigned areas and work weekends/public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all retail sales associates in the assigned area and help achieve company objectives.
• Ensure products are prominently displayed in outlets per store guidelines.
• Monitor team attendance and punctuality.
• Interview and shortlist candidates for vacancies.
• Train and guide new staff for onboarding and responsibilities.
• Upload staff schedules and keep them accurate.
• Assist in overseeing staff matters and resolve on-ground issues.
• Support in-store promotions and sales when needed.
• Handle cash banking per policy and safekeeping when required.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned and meet sales KPIs.
• Ensure all admin and approvals align with HR, Finance, and accounting.

Responsibility

• 1) Supervising all retail sales associate in your assigned area and helping them to achieve the company's objectives.
• 2) Ensure company products are prominently displayed in outlets, according to the guidelines from the Store Manager/ Area Manager and Marketing Team (VM).
• 3) Monitor the team's attendance and ensure punctuality of the team.
• 4) Responsible for interviewing and shortlisting candidates for vacancies.
• 5) Train and guide new staffs to ensure smooth onboarding and understanding of job responsibilities.
• 6) Upload staffs' work schedules and ensure they are updated and accurate.
• 7) Assist the PIC/ Manager in overseeing staff-related matters and resolving on-ground issues.
• 8) Support in-store promotions and selling when required in selected outlets.
• 9) Cash on hand must be banked into Bank. If the banking day falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or Public Holiday, the cash is to be securely placed in the safety box until next working day, adhere all the company rules and regulations.
• 10) Carry out any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the superior.
• 11) Ensure all sales targets and performance KPIs are met.
• 12) Ensure all administrative and approval work is accurate and aligned, including HR, Finance, and accounting tasks.
