Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable Retail Supervisor to lead your assigned area of fashion retail. You will oversee sales associates, ensure product displays per guidelines, and support in-store promotions.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years in fashion retail, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Office. You should be willing to travel and work weekends.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma in Business/Marketing or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in fashion retail or sales supervision.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervising all retail sales associates in your assigned area and helping them to achieve the company's objectives.
• Ensure products are prominently displayed in outlets according to Store Manager/Area Manager and Marketing Team guidelines.
• Monitor the team's attendance and ensure punctuality.
• Responsible for interviewing and shortlisting candidates for vacancies.
• Train and guide new staff to ensure smooth onboarding and understanding of job responsibilities.
• Upload staff work schedules and ensure accuracy.
• Assist the PIC/Manager in overseeing staff-related matters and resolving on-ground issues.
• Support in-store promotions and selling in selected outlets.
• Cash on hand must be banked into Bank; on non-working days keep funds securely in the safety box.
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by supervisor and ensure KPIs are met.
• Ensure all HR/Finance/admin tasks are accurate and aligned.

1) Minimum SPM or equivalent. Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Marketing, or related fields is an advantage.

• 2) Ensure company products are prominently displayed in outlets, according to the guidelines from the Store Manager/ Area Manager and Marketing Team (VM).
• 3) Monitor the team's attendance and ensure punctuality of the team.
• 4) Responsible for interviewing and shortlisting candidates for vacancies.
• 5) Train and guide new staffs to ensure smooth onboarding and understanding of job responsibilities.
• 6) Upload staffs' work schedules and ensure they are updated and accurate.
• 7) Assist the PIC/ Manager in overseeing staff-related matters and resolving on-ground issues.
• 8) Support in-store promotions and selling when required in selected outlets.
• 9) Cash on hand must be banked into Bank. If the banking day falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or Public Holiday, the cash is to be securely placed in the safety box until next working day, adhere all the company rules and regulations.
• 10) Carry out any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the superior.
• 11) Ensure all sales targets and performance KPIs are met.
• 12) Ensure all administrative and approval work is accurate and aligned, including HR, Finance, and accounting tasks.
