Job summary

Ria Money Transfer, a global payments leader, seeks a Branch Manager in Retail Operations to drive store performance through sales forecasting, team engagement and regulatory compliance.

You will analyze competitors, optimize profitability, ensure accurate cash handling, and uphold AML regulations while delivering excellent customer service. This on-site role supports growth in Malaysia's retail network.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma/degree in Business, Finance, Retail or a related field.
• Proven experience in retail, sales, or store management.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of financial transactions, AMLA regulations, and compliance procedures.
• Ability to drive sales performance and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate store sales forecasts for each calendar month and year.
• Track daily sales performance and drive the store team to meet targets.
• Analyze competitors and provide market intelligence updates.
• Attract customers and instill a proactive attitude in the team.
• Identify opportunities to improve store Profit and Loss performance.
• Ensure cash movements are recorded, reconciled and balanced daily.
• Maintain full compliance with AMLA and Bank Negara Malaysia guidelines.
