Job summary

NEW BALANCE ATHLETIC SHOES SDN.BHD. is seeking a store leader to manage daily operations and drive sales at our Sabah outlet. The role involves supporting the Area Manager, setting up hourly and daily goals, and training staff to deliver excellent customer service.

The candidate should have 3–4 years in retail, strong leadership, and fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a readiness to work shifts, including weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years of related retail experience.
• Experience in leading a store team and achieving sales targets.
• Ability to train and develop staff to meet service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and be the key person in store operations.
• Support Area Manager or Store Manager in daily operations.
• Set up hourly and daily sales targets and execute game plans.
• Provide training and uphold customer service standards.
• Manage daily cash handling, stock movement, and loss prevention.
• Plan monthly rosters within payroll costs and monitor attendance.
• Ensure store displays and housekeeping follow Visual Merchandising guidelines.
• Prepare monthly reports for Area/Store Manager.
