Job summary

Pantai Selamat Retailer Sdn Bhd is seeking a Store Operations Support to help coordinate daily outlet performance across our East Coast network. You will collaborate with outlet teams and HQ to ensure promotions, SOPs, and standards are applied consistently and to support new store openings.

Strong communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and willingness to travel across locations are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Retail Management, Operations or a related field.
• Good written and spoken communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willing to travel and work with outlet teams across locations.
• Retail operations experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor outlet performance and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with outlet teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Ensure promotions and in-store activities are implemented as planned.
• Monitor compliance with SOPs, standards and audit requirements.
• Support new store openings, including readiness and setup.
• Coordinate between HQ and outlets on updates and follow-ups.
• Visit outlets to identify issues and support improvements.
• Assist with other retail operations projects as required.

Pantai Selamat Supermarket has grown from a trusted neighbourhood grocer into one of the East Coast’s established supermarket chains. With outlets across Pahang and Terengganu under Pantai Selamat and Fresh Choice, we continue to expand while strengthening our retail operations across the Group.

We are looking for a Store Operations Support (SOS) team member to support the smooth and consistent operations of our outlets. You will work closely with outlet teams and HQ to monitor store performance, ensure promotional and operational standards are properly executed, support new store openings, and drive follow-up actions where improvements are required.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on retail operations, working across multiple outlets, and coordinating with different teams.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Monitor outlet performance and follow up on required corrective actions.

Work closely with outlet teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and execution.

Ensure promotions and in-store activities are implemented accurately and according to plan.

Monitor outlet compliance with company SOPs, operational standards and audit requirements.

Support new store openings, including operational preparation and store readiness.

Coordinate between HQ and outlet teams on operational matters, updates and follow-up actions.

Visit outlets when required to identify operational issues and support improvements.

Assist with other retail operations projects and assignments as required.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Business, Retail Management, Operations or a related field.

Good written and spoken communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Willing to travel and work closely with outlet teams across different locations.

Previous experience in retail operations or the retail industry is preferred.

Organised, responsible and comfortable coordinating with multiple teams.
