Job summary

2-3 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or Fresh Department operations will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day-to-day operations and sales in Fresh Department.
• Ensure stock arrangement, replenishment, rotation, and returns.
• Monitor freshness, quality, and handling of fresh products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic department.
• Implement and enforce SOPs.
• Monitor operations and identify efficiency improvements.
• Supervise, guide, and motivate team to meet sales/targets.
• Foster teamwork and good communication within the team.

Key responsibilities

Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations and sales activities of the Fresh Department.

Ensure proper stock arrangement, replenishment, rotation, and return of stocks.

Monitor stock levels, freshness, quality, and proper handling of fresh products.

Ensure the department is maintained in a clean, organized, and hygienic condition.

Implement and ensure compliance with the Company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Monitor daily operations and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Supervise, guide, and motivate team members to achieve departmental sales and operational targets.

Foster a strong teamwork spirit and maintain good communication within the team.

Monitor staff attendance, discipline, work performance, and productivity.

Handle customer enquiries and feedback professionally and promptly.

About you

2-3 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or Fresh Department operations will be an advantage.

Experience in team supervision, stock management, and retail operations will be an added advantage.

Fresh graduates with strong leadership potential and a willingness to learn may also be considered.

Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
