Job summary

SENJUN INDUSTRIAL SDN. BHD. is seeking a New Store Opening Project Specialist/Senior Specialist to lead end-to-end store openings from planning to launch.

The role requires coordinating leasing, development, operations, and marketing to ensure timely milestones and smooth execution, with travel as needed. Candidates should have 2–3 years in chain F&B or retail openings and strong project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in F&B, Business Administration, or related fields preferred
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in chain F&B or retail store openings
• Familiar with store operations and pre-opening processes; project management experience is an advantage
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willing to travel frequently or be stationed on-site as required

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end setup of new stores, managing the full pre-opening lifecycle from planning to launch
• Develop and manage store opening timelines, ensuring all milestones are achieved on schedule
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (leasing, development, operations, marketing, etc.) to ensure smooth execution
• Oversee store renovation and construction progress following site selection
• Liaise with design and construction teams to ensure alignment with brand standards and specifications
• Conduct inspections and acceptance of store facilities, including utilities and equipment
• Prepare and manage pre-opening material requirements (equipment, raw materials, consumables, etc.)
• Monitor procurement, logistics, and delivery to ensure timely availability
• Ensure all operational resources are fully in place prior to store opening
• Support franchisees in executing recruitment plans for new store staff
• Ensure all staff complete required training in products, service standards, and SOPs before opening
• Ensure the team is operationally ready for store launch
• Assist in planning and executing store opening promotions and campaigns
• Coordinate the development of marketing materials (e.g., posters, flyers)
• Provide on-site support to ensure successful execution of opening activities
