Job summary

Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Stores Project Manager to plan, organize and manage the set-up of new stores, oversee design to handover, and ensure delivery within budget, timeframe and quality standards.

You will coordinate with brand, operations, malls, and suppliers, manage invoices, provide progress reports, and travel as needed to ensure timely openings and high-quality store environments.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a relevant field; interior design/architecture background preferred.
• 5+ years in project management for store setup and interior fit-out.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
• Willing to travel as required; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage the set-up of new stores.
• Oversee all projects from design to handover.
• Ensure work stays within budget, timeframe and quality standards.
• Manage supplier and fit-out contractor selection and appointment.
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues with subcontractors.
• Liaise with mall management and authorities to resolve issues.
• Execute the project work plan and revise as needed.
• Review proposed layouts with brand operations for compliance.
• Collaborate with brand, marketing, and operations to open on time.
• Prepare progress reports and project documentation.
• Review invoices related to store development and maintenance.
• Provide periodic reports on costs and lead-times.
