Job summary

Valiram, a premier luxury retailer in Kuala Lumpur, seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead one of its multi-brand outlets. You will drive sales performance, implement product and sales strategies, and ensure daily operations run smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in retail with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, holds a Diploma or Bachelor's degree, and excels in communication, influence, and negotiation with leadership.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of total retail experience with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree (desirable) in related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to communicate, influence and negotiate effectively with all levels of leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive the store’s/outlet’s sales performance and maximize profitability.
• Deliver a unique and genuine customer experience following the WOW approach.
• Develop the team by instilling Valiram's entrepreneurial spirit and maintaining effective staffing.
• Execute store SOPs and ensure opening/closing, cost control, roster and manpower planning, and visual merchandising for promos.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

1. Drive the Sales and maximize Profitability

• Manage and deliver store’s/outlet’s sales performance.
• Facilitate implementation of product/ sales strategies.
• Keep the team updated daily on Conversion Rate and Average Transaction Value with the team on regular basis. *Monthly Plan forecast.

2. Deliver WOW Experience

• Provide a unique and genuine customer experience that delights and engages every shopper by following the 7 steps to WOW.

3. Develop Team

• Instil Valiram's Entrepreneurial Spirit within the Team.
• Consistently demonstrate appreciation and encouragement.
• Maintain effective staffing with top performing team by actively networking, recruiting, hiring and succession planning.

4. Delivery Operations Excellence

• Execute and maintain compliance of Store SOP at all times.
• This includes Store Opening & Closing/ Cost Control/ Roster & Manpower Planning.
• Set up and maintain visual merchandising displays for promotional and seasonal activities. e.g. EOS, SASS.

Requirements:
