Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Malaysia is seeking a Retail Branch Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and ensure top-notch customer care. You will manage a team, implement promotional campaigns, and maintain inventory accuracy while upholding regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, market awareness of optical products, and a proven ability to achieve targets in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in optical retail management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering strong customer service.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of optical products, industry trends and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in inventory management, POS software, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Your Role

The Retail Branch Manager oversees the day‑to‑day operations of their store, ensuring efficient and effective management of sales, customer service, and staff. They are responsible for driving sales, maintaining high standards of product quality and customer care, and achieving sales targets while upholding regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve targets for the store.
• Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for growth.
• Implement promotional campaigns, upselling techniques, and customer retention initiatives to maximize sales opportunities.
• Lead by example by demonstrating effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service skills to inspire and motivate the sales team.
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times and address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
• Foster a customer‑centric culture among staff members and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Conduct recruitment, training, sales supervision, coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to optimize team performance.
• Develop employee schedules, assign tasks, and manage staffing levels to meet business needs.
• Oversee inventory management processes, including stock levels, ordering, and merchandising.
• Monitor product quality, conduct regular audits, and implement measures to minimize damages and losses.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards and company SOP.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Monitor expenses, control costs, and optimize operational efficiency to maximize profitability.

Requirements

• Previous experience in optical retail management.
• Strong sales and customer service skills with a proven track record of achieving targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of optical products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS software, and Microsoft Office suite.
