Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations, drive sales, and manage staff to deliver excellent customer service. This role focuses on maintaining high standards, coaching the team, and upholding operational controls across the branch.

You will engage with customers, ensure compliance with policies, and contribute to a customer-centric culture while supporting recruitment and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in optical retail management.
• Strong sales and customer service skills with a proven track record of achieving targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of optical products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS software, and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Support sales staff in achieving sales targets through coaching and motivation.
• Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and effectively.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new staff members.
• Assist in maintaining operational efficiency by enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Oversee branch operations, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Analyze sales reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with administrative tasks and liaise with head office departments.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and foster a customer-centric culture.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in developing employee schedules, assign tasks, and manage staffing levels to meet business needs.
• Assist in administrative tasks such as preparing reports, maintaining records, and processing paperwork.

Your Role
