Job summary

SM Pharmaceuticals Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a warehouse/store operator to support daily store and warehouse operations at Sungai Petani, Kedah.

You will receive, check, store, pick, pack and issue materials while maintaining inventory records and good housekeeping. The role requires basic computer skills, the ability to read and write, physical fitness to handle materials, and strong teamwork. Overtime may be required; the company offers a competitive, incentive-based salary and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse/store operations is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to read, write and perform basic calculations.
• Physically fit and able to handle/store materials as required.
• Good teamwork, discipline and attention to detail.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, goods and products.
• Check quantity, item description and condition against delivery documents.
• Report any discrepancies or damaged items to the supervisor.
• Arrange and store materials systematically according to designated locations.
• Ensure proper identification, labelling and segregation of materials.
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock counting.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable.
• Pick and issue materials according to approved requests or documents.
• Prepare materials/products for delivery or production use.
• Complete and maintain store/warehouse documents and records.
• Update stock movement accurately in the system or relevant records.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the store/warehouse.
• Follow company safety procedures, SOPs and relevant GMP requirements.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and appropriately.
• Assist in stock take and inventory reconciliation.
• Support loading, unloading and movement of materials when required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

Job description

Responsible for supporting daily store and warehouse operations, including receiving, checking, storing, picking, packing and issuing materials/products while ensuring proper inventory control and good housekeeping.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Receiving & Checking

a) Receive incoming materials, goods and products.

b) Check quantity, item description and condition against delivery documents.

c) Report any discrepancies or damaged items to the supervisor.

a) Arrange and store materials systematically according to designated locations.

b) Ensure proper identification, labelling and segregation of materials.

c) Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock counting.

d) Follow FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable.

Picking & Issuing

a) Pick and issue materials according to approved requests or documents.

b) Ensure the correct quantity and item are issued.

c) Prepare materials/products for delivery or production use.

Documentation

a) Complete and maintain relevant store/warehouse documents and records.

b) Update stock movement accurately in the system or relevant records.

a) Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the store/warehouse.

b) Follow company safety procedures, SOPs and relevant GMP requirements.

c) Ensure materials are stored safely and appropriately.

Other Duties

a) Assist in stock take and inventory reconciliation.
