Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, CA, MIA, or equivalent preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in statutory reporting, audit, tax compliance, or financial compliance, ideally in an MNC.
• Big 4 audit or tax experience preferred.
• Experience working with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
• Knowledge of corporate income tax, withholding tax, and stamp duty requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements and related disclosures per US GAAP, local GAAP, and statutory rules.
• Own end-to-end statutory audit coordination, including planning and responding to auditor queries.
• Coordinate and support local tax compliance activities, including corporate income tax and withholding tax filings.
• Prepare and reconcile schedules to ensure consistency between statutory statements and tax filings.
• Serve as primary contact for auditors, tax agents, and regulators (IRB) on routine compliance and audits.
• Coordinate with tax advisors on tax returns, computations, estimates, amendments, and audit support.
• Support non-routine compliance matters such as tax audits and regulatory inquiries.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Legal, Treasury, and shared services to resolve issues.
• Identify control weaknesses and process gaps, recommending improvements for audit readiness.
• Maintain documentation for statutory and tax deliverables.
