Agilent Technologies is seeking a Finance Analyst in Malaysia to lead end-to-end statutory reporting, audit coordination, and local tax compliance for assigned entities. The role acts as a bridge between accounting and tax, coordinating with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely, accurate filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, CA, MIA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in statutory reporting, audits, tax compliance, or financial compliance.
• Big 4 audit or tax experience preferred.
• Experience working with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
• Working knowledge of corporate income tax, withholding tax, and stamp duty requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements under US GAAP, local GAAP, and statutory rules.
• Own end-to-end statutory audit coordination with planning, schedules, and auditor queries.
• Coordinate and support local tax compliance, including corporate income tax and stamp duty.
• Prepare schedules to align statutory and tax filings.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors, tax agents, and IRB.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Legal, Treasury, and shared services to resolve issues.
• Identify process gaps and risks to strengthen compliance and audit readiness.
• Maintain documentation for statutory and tax deliverables.
