Job summary

MY03 Agilent Technologies LDA Malaysia is seeking a Finance Analyst to own end-to-end compliance support for statutory reporting, audits, and local tax filings across Malaysia entities. You will coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and authorities to ensure accurate, timely submissions and robust controls.

In this role, you will prepare statutory financial statements under US GAAP and local requirements, manage audit planning and queries, and support corporate income tax, withholding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, CA, MIA or equivalent preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in statutory reporting, audit, tax compliance, or financial compliance, preferably in an MNC.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements under US GAAP, local GAAP, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate end-to-end statutory audit planning, preparing schedules, and responding to auditor queries.
• Coordinate and support local tax compliance activities including corporate income tax, withholding tax, stamp duty, and regulatory filings.
• Prepare and reconcile schedules to ensure consistency between statutory statements and tax filings.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors, tax agents, and authorities (IRB) for routine matters and inquiries.
• Collaborate with external tax advisors on tax returns, computations, estimates, amendments and audit support.
• Support non-routine compliance, including tax audits and IRB reviews, and manage data quality issues.
• Partner with Finance, Tax, Legal, Treasury and shared services to resolve compliance issues.
• Identify control weaknesses and process gaps, and propose improvements for audit readiness.
• Maintain documentation for statutory and tax deliverables.
