Job summary

Agilent Technologies LDA Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. invites an experienced Finance Analyst to own end-to-end statutory reporting and tax compliance for Malaysia entities. This role collaborates with external auditors, tax advisors, and authorities to ensure timely, accurate filings and strong audit readiness.

You will coordinate audits, prepare disclosures under US GAAP and local GAAP, and support corporate tax and regulatory filings, partnering with Finance, Tax, Legal, and Shared Services teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in statutory reporting, audit, tax compliance, or financial compliance.
• Big 4 audit or tax experience preferred.
• Experience working with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
• Working knowledge of corporate income tax, withholding tax, and stamp duty requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements and disclosures per US GAAP, local GAAP, and statutory rules.
• Coordinate end-to-end statutory audit activities, including planning and responding to auditor questions.
• Support local tax compliance activities: corporate income tax, withholding tax, stamp duty, and regulatory filings.
• Reconcile accounting and tax schedules to align statutory and tax filings.
• Serve as primary contact for auditors, tax agents, and IRB inquiries.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Legal, Treasury, and shared service teams to resolve compliance issues.
• Identify control gaps and risks; suggest improvements for audit readiness.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for statutory and tax deliverables.
