Job summary

Agilent Technologies Inc. in Malaysia seeks a Finance Analyst to own end-to-end compliance for assigned Malaysia entities, including statutory reporting, audit coordination, and local tax compliance.

You will coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and the IRB to ensure timely, accurate statutory and tax filings, while maintaining high data quality and supporting control improvements across Finance, Tax, Legal, and Treasury teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA/ACCA/CA/MIA or equivalent preferred.
• 8+ years in statutory reporting, audit, tax compliance, or financial compliance.
• Big 4 audit or tax experience preferred.
• Experience with external auditors, tax agents and regulatory authorities.
• Knowledge of corporate income tax, withholding tax and stamp duty requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements under US GAAP, local GAAP, and statutory rules.
• Coordinate end-to-end statutory audit planning and respond to auditor queries.
• Coordinate local tax compliance including corporate income tax and withholding tax.
• Ensure consistency between statutory statements and tax filings.
• Serve as primary contact for auditors, tax agents and IRB.
• Support tax return preparation, computations, estimates, amendments, and audit support.
• Identify control gaps and improve compliance and audit readiness.
• Maintain documentation for statutory and tax deliverables.
