Job summary

Agilent is seeking a Finance Analyst in Malaysia to own end-to-end statutory reporting, audit coordination, and local tax compliance. You will work with external auditors, tax advisors, and authorities to ensure timely, accurate filings and robust compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, CA, MIA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in statutory reporting, audit, tax compliance, or financial compliance.
• Big 4 audit or tax experience preferred.
• Experience working with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
• Working knowledge of corporate income tax, withholding tax, and stamp duty requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements and disclosures per US GAAP, local GAAP and statutory rules.
• Own end-to-end statutory audit coordination, including planning, schedules, auditor queries, and timely audits.
• Coordinate and support local tax compliance activities, including corporate income tax and stamp duty filings.
• Prepare and reconcile accounting and tax-related schedules to ensure consistency between statements and tax filings.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors, tax agents, and IRB for routine compliance and audits.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors on tax returns, computations and amendments, ensuring data quality.
• Support non-routine compliance matters such as tax audits and IRB reviews.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Legal, Treasury, and shared services to resolve compliance issues.
• Identify process gaps and control weaknesses; recommend improvements for audit readiness.
• Maintain documentation for statutory and tax deliverables.
