Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Shah Alam is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to qualify PQFN packaging and related processes for SPS products. You will drive ramp-up, source qualification, and cross-functional collaboration with Test, Product, Quality and Operations teams.

You will manage lifecycle documents, drive improvements in yield, capacity and cost, and coordinate with OSAT/contract manufacturers to support production with a focus on reliability and quality.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Physics, Chemistry or Applied Sciences.
• Experience in process engineering or package development for thin wafer handling and SPS solder attach.
• Knowledge of PQFNs/QFNs/WLCSP and leaded packages quality/reliability.
• Familiarity with wire bonding and SPC software (e.g., JMP).
• Strong English communication and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design PQFN package and qualify processes for SPS products and modules.
• Ramp up manufacturing volume and qualify required sources.
• Improve line sustaining: yield, capacity, quality and cost.
• Coordinate with Test, Product, Quality and Operations teams on feedback.
• Maintain Product Lifecycle Management documents to latest status.
• Manage OSAT and contract manufacturers for production.
